Sweden shakes!

A lot of Swedes woke up this morning around 06:20 due to an earthquake. The quake measured 4.7 on the Richter scale. Not a lot by international standards, but for Sweden, it’s huge. It’s likely the largest earthquake since 1904. Weird stuff!

    Bummer indeed. Apparently, there wasn’t a lot of shaking in the city where I live because the epicentre was approx. 70 kilometres away. My wife woke up, but she didn’t register that it was an earthquake.

    I slept through it all as well. My girlfriend woke up, but thought someone was drilling and went back to sleep. Half an hour later mom and dad wakes us up with a call just to ask if we’re all right – I had no clue what he was talking about. Oh well.
