MacBook Air
Bleh. Turns out, the MacBook Air isn’t quite what I was hoping for. I wanted a small notebook, not a “thin” notebook. I can’t really see the advantages of having such a thin computer. There are, however, lots of disadvantages:
- No optical drive.
- No Ethernet port (!).
- Tiny harddrive (80 GB maximum).
- Slow harddrive (4200 RPM parallel ATA).
- One USB port.
Really, the only thing the MacBook Air has going for it is that it’s thin and pretty. I’m not sure that’s enough, Apple.

I quite agree with you here. It is thin, but that is about it.
I just watched the guided tour yesterday. Yes, there are no real advantages. However, it’s a great item to show off :D
