A friend alerted me to the fact that comments weren’t working. I think I might have solved the problem now. It appears as if having anything in the “Comment Blacklist” box in the WordPress backend completely disables comments. Oh well, I just tried to post a comment and it worked. Hopefully, it will for you guys as well.

    I’ve tried all kinds of blacklists but they are getting defeated as sonn as a new list is posted. What we have now are specialized attacks at certain blog software, so an MT blacklist may not work with WordPress or Nucleus.

    I began using Captcha images and haven’t looked back, they may have their downside but they work for now.
